Dicen que tu padre premieres on RTVE and screens at Caostica on the same day
Bilbao, June 2, 2026 – The short film Dicen que tu padre, directed by Aitor Abio, is experiencing one of the most important days of its journey with two major events taking place on the same date.
Tonight, the film will be broadcast on RTVE’s La 2 as part of the acclaimed Versión Española programme, immediately following the feature film scheduled for the evening. This screening offers a unique opportunity for audiences across Spain to discover one of the most remarkable Basque short films of the year.
On the same day, Dicen que tu padre will also be screened at Caostica 24, a festival renowned for championing bold, independent and unconventional filmmaking.
Having both events coincide on a single day highlights the strong momentum behind the film and further establishes Aitor Abio as one of the emerging voices of contemporary Basque cinema.
