Study Cinematographic dubbing in ECPV
What to study to become a film dubbing actor or actress?
The voice is a powerful tool. In film, it can excite, provoke, inspire, or move without the face appearing on screen. Film dubbing is an art that requires precision, interpretation, and sensitivity. If you are passionate about acting and have an affinity with your voice, this course can open the doors to a profession with a long tradition and a strong present.
At ECPV – Basque Country Film School, we offer you specialized and practical training in film dubbing, where you will work with real scripts and active dubbing professionals.
"The voice is the actor’s oldest and most powerful instrument." — Cicely Berry, vocal coach at the Royal Shakespeare Company
Why train in film dubbing?
Because dubbing is not just reading a text: it is acting with the voice. It is adapting to a rhythm, tone, emotion, and a character already performed by another actor, doing it naturally, in sync, and with credibility. This course will allow you to acquire the necessary skills to start a career as a dubbing actor or actress in film, television, or advertising.
You will work with real audiovisual material and face recording sessions like those carried out in professional studios. The course emphasizes vocal technique, synchronization, and above all, interpretation.

Additionally, you will practice scenes from different genres to improve your versatility: drama, comedy, action, animation, or documentary film.
The instructors are active professionals with extensive experience in film, television, and voice-over, ensuring you receive up-to-date teaching connected to the reality of the industry.
What career opportunities does this training offer?
Upon completing the course, you will be ready to start in the dubbing world, equipped with the tools to audition, collaborate on independent projects, or continue advancing your training. Possible career paths include:
