Nerea Martínez Martín

Professional Experience
Born in Portugalete, she began dancing with the traditional dance and music group Elai-Alai, where she developed her passion and curiosity for dance.
She holds a diploma in Physical Education Teaching and obtained a Degree in Contemporary Dance from the Professional Dance School of Burgos.
She has studied with teachers and choreographers from the Basque Country and all over Europe.
She is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher by the RIMYI and a member of AEYI.
She has performed with companies from the Basque Country, Switzerland, and others. Since 2017, she has worked with the theatre company Markeliñe.
As a creator, she has developed her own pieces, including her solo Biraka and Abrazo with Natalia García M. Her works have toured Spain, Europe, and Mexico.
In 2018, she received the Best Female Performer award for her role in Euria at the FITC in Bucharest.
