Professional Experience

Founder of the production company PLATANOBOLÍGRAFO, dedicated to audiovisual and cinematographic creation since 2012.

As a producer, he produces/co-produces between (2012 and 2019) 23 fiction works that accumulate more than 500 selections, exceeding 150 awards at international festivals. Among these selections and awards, the presence in the festival sections and the list of winners of some of the most prestigious national and international competitions (Málaga, Sitges, Seminci, Gijón, Fantasia, Morbido, BIFFF, NY Film Festival, Fantasporto, Medina del Campo, Cinema Jove, Screamfest, BIFAN...), or the selection of short films in distribution catalogs such as Kimuak or Laboral Cinemateca.

To date, these productions have been sold in more than 17 countries, as well as to state television (Movistar+), local (EiTB), and international VOD platforms (Netflix). In the field of feature films, Kevin Iglesias produces in 2017 “La Noche del Virgen” (Roberto San Sebastián), a film nominated for the Silver Melies for Best European Genre Film, with more than 30 selections and 17 international awards in competitions such as Fantasia (Canada), Mórbido (Mexico) Nigh of Horror (Australia) or New York Film Festival (USA). Established as a sort of festival phenomenon, “La Noche del virgen” was publicly praised by Eli Roth (“Hostel”) or Ryan Turek (Blumhouse producer), to finally be released in theaters in Spain and marketed in more than 15 countries. He is also associate producer of “Errementari”, by Paul Urkijo.
