Goizeder Urtasun is a Spanish screenwriter and director with a distinguished career in the audiovisual field. She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Pamplona and specialized in screenwriting at ESCAC. She has developed various projects that range from documentary cinema to fiction.
**Professional Career:**
- **"Ximeneiak"**: She wrote, directed, and photographed this documentary feature film, which explores the evolution of the labor movement through the experience of her father, the painter José Ramón Urtasun, and his companions.
- **"Modu Modua"**: A screenplay selected for the CIMA Mentoring program and Ventana CineMad, telling the story of Laura, a mother who faces personal and professional challenges when she becomes a truck driver after her husband’s accident.
- **Projects in Chile**: During her time in Chile, she wrote the feature films *"Sunny"* and *"No Basta con Amar"* (2019), as well as the docureality *"Happy Together"* for TVN.
- **Education and Mentorship**: She has collaborated on cultural educational projects, such as those promoted by the A Bao A Qu association. Currently, she works as a coordinator and script advisor at COOFILM and directs the Audiovisual School of the Spinal Cord Injury Foundation in Madrid, where she merges cinema and functional diversity.
- **CIMA10**: She is part of the CIMA10 team, an initiative by the Association of Women Filmmakers and Audiovisual Media that promotes the creation of audiovisual content from a gender equality perspective. Alongside María Castejón, she has developed educational materials for this initiative.
